An absolute delight to chat with, she LOVES her industry and enjoys the challenge of advocating the advantages of diversity, particularly for women in an obviously male dominated industry. That takes some resilience!
AWIC serves women in construction and the partners of people in construction so they can network and encourage one another. More women in construction is good for the industry and improves the culture and can improve the mental health of others in this predominantly masculine industry where expressing feelings (other than anger and frustration) is normally frowned on.
