noisy, crowded coffee shop

Why saying “No” to coffee shop coaching is better for your results

Listen, Watch or Read.

Saying “No” to where you give or receive coaching matters. It’s trendy to meet in a coffee shop but you’ll only scratch the surface of what really matters. You are competing with distractions, disruptive noises and interruptions. It sends the message that you don’t really matter that much. Good coaching addresses serious issues that are causing stress and anxiety in your life or workplace, it can get emotional and raw. If you can’t meet somewhere quiet and private, your computer is the best place to connect. Over the internet, in the comfort of familiar surroundings, people can be more vulnerable. If it’s going to get to the heart of the matter, if there might be tears or prayers, things that really matter, keep the coffee shop for fun socialising.
